Update. May 31, 2007. This post continues to be the most read post on this blog. I continue to get comments from people who have been traumatized by the system and don’t know how to deal with it.

I have added additional information about by experiences with CPS and additional information about the lawyers involved. This is a work-in-progress and more will be added as time allows. I also hope to write some additional posts on CPS reform.Update: April 10, 2007. This post has been updated. I have named the people involved in my battle with CPS. I will be updating this post some more when I have time. I will bring it to the forefront of this blog every time I update it, as it is one of the more important posts on this blog.If you have been following this blog from the beginning, you know that in 2004 Child Protective Services (CPS) of Montgomery County brought a petition of neglect against me. It was based on a report by Salvatore Cerniglia, a psychiatric social worker* at Ellis Hospital who met with me for a total of 45 minutes. Dr. Sander Fogal attended about twenty-five minutes of this meeting. After talking for about fifteen minutes, he realized he had the wrong person’s chart.

Child Protective Services, CPS, has devastated and destroyed hundreds of thousands of families in America during the last thirty years leaving a trail of broken hearts, broken dreams, and shattered childhoods.

Rather than helping families, government agents have used unconstitutional laws in Juvenile Court to rip children away from their loving parents, break asunder God-given, natural, parent-child bonds, and adopt the children of the grieving out to others who profit financially with large monthly adoption subsidy payments.
