In January when Ron and Bessie started the planning of this rally, little did they know it would be seven months before they would meet face to face. As they brought Stephen into the fold a short time later, it was still unclear as to when they would actually meet.
Ron and Stephen did have a chance to meet for dinner a few months before the rally, however on Aug. 16, 2007 was the first time all three were able to be in the same place at the same time.
