This is a story to touch all hearts. Don has been growing his pony tail for over 7 years to donate in his daughter's name.



Don is not allowed to see his daughter because he is disabled and unable to take parenting classes.



Don is a very loving and caring person and lives for the day he can spend some time with his daughter...whom he has not seen in over 7 years.



I would love for people to spend time with Don and see what a caring and good natured person he really is.



Don was so swelling with pride to finally get his pony tail cut and readied to donate to Locks of Love.



As we left the stage, Don turned to me and said "THANK YOU, YOU ARE ME NEW BEST FRIEND'



What a moving ceremony, Don is an amazing person. A child should be so lucky to have a dad like Don.

Don has his time at the mic. I was so moved to tears as he told his story.



Everyone was so very touched by Don's story.



I am explaining to Don that his hair is gonna be short when we are through cutting it...he smiled with so much love in his face.



He took the band off to show the true length of his hair.



Gail is getting a good feel for where to cut.

We are cut and the look on our faces says it all, but Don's face was precious.

Don took the mike this time, he had plenty to say about his love for his daughter.



As we hear Don speak of how his disabilities and the judge's decision to disallow visitation because Don is not able to take parenting classes...I realized at that moment...this could happen to any of us.
