# 550: Jul 29, 2007, Lou Dias , New Hampshire - How much worse can it get? >"There is something bad happening to our children in family courts today that is causing them more harm than drugs, more harm than crime and even more harm than child molestation." Judge Watson L. White Superior Court Judge, Cobb County, Georgia >"There is no system ever devised by mankind that is guaranteed to rip husband and wife or father, mother and child apart so bitterly than our present Family Court System." Judge Brian Lindsay Retired Supreme Court Judge, New York, New York

# 545: Jul 28, 2007, Brandi Lefever , Texas - I'm all for a good debate, it just depends on the issue.

# 544: Jul 28, 2007, Amy Hillebrand , Oregon - The very thing that is to protect families is breaking them down. Children are being taken away from thier fathers and denied the right to know other siblings. This is all because ex-wives use children to get back at fathers. I think they should be held responsible for the mental anguish, harassment, and emotional distress they are putting on fathers. The government has it hand in it to. I am 36. I was adopted because my mom did not take care of me and my father was a male. I was one of the lucky ones though. My parents always let me see and have contact with him. It makes me sick that I was denied my father because he was male. How prejudece is that. Wake up some fathers are not the bad guys just the victoms. My husband has not seen his son Eric in twenty five years because his mother lied to him and got away with it. Shame on her. She should be in jail.

# 543: Jul 28, 2007, Russell Hillebrand , Oregon - To my loving son Eric, It has been 25 years since we have seen each other. You now have eight wonderful brothers and sisters. There is so much I missed out on with you. Maybe if the government gave the same rights to fathers as mothers we would still be in touch. I have grieve everyday for you. You see I got laid off my job and was behind on my childsupport by 350.00 dallors. I was given the choice that day to pay the money, go to jail, or sign papers giving your moms husband permission to adopt you. Your grandfather and uncle conveinced me it was the right thing to do. This way you would not grow up with two dads just one. I was told by your uncle and grandfather which got to see you that they would make sure you knew the truth. Again they lied. I am not a bad person. I go to church and believe some how you will see things for how they were and are. I feel I put you in a worst situation. Had I known I would not of listened to any of them. You see mom's don't have to work and they still keep their children. Dad's on the other hand if they lose thier jobs, they lose everything. I love and miss you deeply. I hope you never forget that. Carol Streams, Illinois. Give dads the same rights as mothers. Our children are the ones that suffer.

# 531: Jul 26, 2007, Patricia Granara , Massachusetts - What this country is doing to our innocent parents and children is a disgrace. I have a friend who had her children taken away and sent to an abusive ex-husband out of state who by the way, owes $70,000 in child support. They keep telling the social worker and their lawyer they want to go home and they just ignore the kids ages 12 and 15. What message are we sending our children whe we cannot discipline them...They are giving the power to the children who know they can do anything they want and can get away with it. No wonder there is so much violence in this Country.

# 528: Jul 26, 2007, Norman Poole , Massachusetts - My daughter and myself are living proof that the probate courts need to think about our kids. Punishing men for simply wanting to parent their beloved children by limiting the most precious time and love that could otherwise be given.I am stating now and forever that I WANT MY CHILD...

# 527: Jul 26, 2007, Anonymous , Florida

# 526: Jul 26, 2007, Kelly McCurry , Georgia - GOD IS THE ONLY ONE TO TAKE A PARENT FROM A CHILD. NO 1 MAN SHOULD HAVE THAT POWER, UNLESS THE CHILD IS BEING HURT...

# 520: Jul 26, 2007, Thomas Ball , Massachusetts - The authorities are forcing parents to choice between the loyalty to their families and the loyalty to our government. The government will lose this type of contest.

# 518: Jul 26, 2007, Wade Noflin , Utah

# 517: Jul 25, 2007, Jan Sokolovits , South Dakota

# 516: Jul 25, 2007, Richard Hudgins , Georgia - Laws are beinging used to destroy the American family. Most of the currently used in family courts are being used to line layers pockets. Too many of our politicians have law degrees and use their elected power to make their profession more profitable. A good example that is not in family court but in criminal court is the Brian Nichols trial in Atlanta. They charged the man with close to a hundred felony counts. I truely believe that they could have got a guilty verdic from just the court room shootings. WHO IS PROFITING FROM ALL OF THIS?

# 515: Jul 25, 2007, Ashlee Nolan , Pennsylvania - I hate CYS and anything that has a part of it. CYS was involved with my family for almost 5 years. They aren't now but when they were, all they did was try to tear my family apart. They didn't want to help or fix any problems. only because they dont know how to fix problems. They only know how to remove people from their homes. That's what they think is the right way to deal with family problems. And I'm totally against it!!

# 509: Jul 25, 2007, Nancy Karen Garza , Michigan - people who abuse childern shouldbe placed on probation and conceling and including the whole family let them take care of their families and not theDHS and the CPS who lie to everyone My husband lost the rights to his childern for something stupid he did years ago and he is also heading to prison for years lost a year with his son and now he will not beable to get those years back how much more does a person and childern have to be punished for doing wrong why can't it be probation and conuncling for as many years and he would get it court.
