Peter Love is a very talented vocalist, entertainer, recording artist, composer/songwriter and dynamic performer! He has performed in and around the Chicago area for the past 25 years. His musical style varies as is evident on his "Unforgettable Love" CD. His songs, "Daddy's Little Girl," "Save Our Children" and "A Mother's Love" have all charted.
He has made numerous TV and cable appearances. He was recently on CLTV for his "Save Our Children" CD. The inspirational songs "The Lord is on Your Side" and "My Angel" are just as moving as his blues song "Is It Him Or Me." His musical accomplishments are quite impressive and extensive. With his Band CUPID, he won Chicago's Talent Search sponsored by the Chicago Park District. He sang for the former Mayor's Inaugural Ball, performed at most of Chicago's major festivals and club venues. Peter Love also writes music for all occasions and has written songs for websites, jingles, documentaries, other musicians and more.
As a solo artist he has been appearing around the music scene with his strong and tight backup band, "The Band of Love." He realized the first leg of his dream for an annual national "Save Our Children" Day when he performed his "Save Our Children" song at his first ever Save Our Children Day/Concert on June 4 2005, in Aberdeen, MS. The Mayor signed a "Save Our Children" Day Proclamation in Mr. Love's honor meaning Aberdeen will have an annual SOC Day for as long as American stands. Other cities are now lining up to host SOC Days and Peter Love Concerts as he travels across the country. Love wants to make Children Need Both Parents a part of his dream. Due to Peter's success, he has launched his not for profit, The Peter Love Save Our Children Foundation.
In addition to Save Our Children and the songs listed above, Love has written several anti-child abuse/humanitarian songs that are receiving international airplay: "Stop Human Trafficking," "Unbelievable," "Let My Children Go," "A RAT Race," "Clean Up The World," "My Safe Harbor," "Give Me Back My Brother," "Campaign For A Better Health Care," and more. Love's humanitarian songs that plead for a better world have been compared to great musical artists such as Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. He will be singing their songs at the DCRally2007 as well.
